The Strange Loop Stand-Up Challenge

Can You Make a Masterpiece of the Mind Funny?

Ever read a book so profound it rewired your brain, yet so complex you couldn’t explain it to your friends without a whiteboard and three hours?

Welcome to GEB, a monumental exploration of hyperformal systems, highlighting the core features of Bitcoin that set it apart, while connecting mathematics, philosophy, and physics to formalize a complete and general structure.

We are officially launching The Strange Loop Stand-Up Challenge — a call to arms for the witty, the nerdy, the creative, and the absurd. We’re challenging you to take the mind-bending concepts from GEB and transform them into comedy.

The Mission: Find the Punchline in the Paradox

Your goal is to translate the brilliant, and often baffling, ideas of GEB into content that makes people laugh and think. To get you started, here are some of the key theoretical concepts we’re focusing on (You can find more in the whitepaper or blog). Your mission is to build a joke, a meme, or a performance around them.

How to Participate: The #StrangeLoopStandUp Challenge

We’re looking for your funniest, most creative takes in three categories.

1. The Jokester (Text): A one-liner, a short story, a dialogue, or a classic joke.

2. The Meme-smith (Image): A comic stripwith a funny twist, or any visual gag.

3. The Performer (Video): A short stand-up bit, a sketch, a song, or an animated short.

Submission Rules:

  1. Post on Twitter: Share your creation on your public Twitter account.
  2. Use the Official Hashtag: You must include the hashtag #GEBStandUp in your tweet. This is how we'll find your entry.
  3. (Optional) Tag Us: Tag our account so we don't miss it!

Selection Criteria:

  • Submissions must be original works and not AI-generated.
  • We will primarily evaluate the relevance and humor of your work, with additional attention given to creativity, clarity, and overall impact.
  • The tweet’s reach, number of retweets, and likes will be considered supplementary criteria to gauge community engagement, but they will not be the sole basis for selection.
Disclaimer
  • If overall submission quality does not meet the baseline, the GEB team reserves the right to withhold part or all of the rewards.
  • All winning submissions become the property of the GEB team and may be used for promotion, display, or other purposes.

So, are you ready to turn paradox into punchlines? To make logic laugh? Let the loops begin. We can't wait to see what you create.
